“Women are meant to be loved, not to be understood.” - Oscar Wilde
Who said the Academy Awards is all about winning a golden statue and fame?! It more than that. It’s also about who’s the best dresses celebrity and the worst dressed or the unlucky one.
Cameron Diaz - Thumbs up for the pale pink Dior dress, thumbs down for her tan.
Cate Blanchett - not the first time pregnant on the red carpet but still gorgeous. I don’t know why but pregnant ladies just glow. They’re cute, gorgeous and sweet. Cate’s wearing a Dries Van Noten creation. Thumbs up for Cate.
Daniel Day Lewis - and wife Rebecca Miller. Elegant and stylish the actor won an Academy Award for “There Will Be Blood“. I remember Daniel from “My Left Foot“, a film that just won’t go out of my mind. Thumbs up for the two.
Ellen Page - this Jean Louis Scherrer dress makes the Juno actress look like she’s 60 while she’s only 21. This style just doesn’t do any good to her. Thumbs down for Ellen.
Faye Dunaway - she may be old but still got it. Thumbs up for Faye.
George Clooney - the Michael Clayton actor looked perfect in a black tuxedo. He’s a real gentleman. Sarah Larson also looked great in that Valentino Couture. Thumbs up for George and Sarah.
Hellen Mirren - Thumbs up for Hellen. Photo via JustJared.com
James Mcavoy - Good looking Scottish boy. Thumb up for him
Diane Lane and Josh Brolin - the actress is wearing a brown David Meister gown and Josh looks great in that Dolce & Gabbana tuxedo.
Kristin Chenoweth - the singer was wearing a Armani Prive dress. Many celebrities wore strapless gowns. Maybe they all wanted to feel like goddesses for one night.
Jennifer Garner - well I must say that I’m impressed. She’s really gorgeous in that Oscar de la Renta black dress. Thumbs up for Jennifer Garner.
Jennifer Hudson - the DreamGirl looked sexy in that Roberto Cavalli white goddess gown. Thumb up for her.
Miley Cyrus - at 15 she looks astonishing. Miley is wearing a red Valentino gown. Thumbs up
Calista Flockhart and Harrison Ford - skinny Calista is wearing a vintage Valentino gown. Thumbs up for her choice.
Katherine Heigl - one of the most astonishing dresses on the Oscar red carpet. Katherine wore a red Escada gown. Thumbs up for Katherine.
Anne Hathaway - looked amazing in a Marchesa red gown. I don’t want to be mean, but she didn’t look like she felt very comfortable in that dress. Thumbs up for her courage though.
Jessica Alba - wore a strapless Marchesa gown. She managed to hide the baby bump pretty well. Sweet and innocent Jessica Alba is a very cute pregnant actress. Thumbs up for her.
Penelope Cruz - sexy Latina Penelope wore a splendid Chanel Couture.
Nicole Kidman - why did she pump her lips? She was so sweet before. Anyway Nicole’s baby bump was very well hidden due to her black Balenciaga gown.
Renee Zellweger - looked pretty fine in a silver Carolina Herrera gown. Thumbs up for Renee.
Hilary Swank - she looked amazing in that black Versace gown.
Marion Cotillard - the winner of the Best Actress award for La Vie En Rose looked ravishing in a mermaid gown made by Jean Paul Gaultier. Thumbs up for her.
Amy Adams - Amy was wearing a Proenza Schouler gown. She looked like a precious jewel. Thumbs up for Amy.
Vanessa Paradis and hubby Johnny Deep - Thumbs up for the strange couple.
Diablo Cody - The exotic dancer turned writer looked ok in that leopard dress and she managed to go home with the Best Original Screenplay award for Juno.
