Thank you so much. Thank you for all the love. I’m here tonight to celebrate a very important birthday, the 25th anniversary of the VMAs. This is the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards and it starts right now. - Britney Spears, opening the show.

Sunday night’s show was mostly a joke. A political-musical joke.Yes, Britney Spears looked amazing, yes, there were many performing spots, but the show itself was really a big joke.

Russell Brand used his speech to convince people that Barack Obama is the right next American President, suggesting that “the retarded cowboy” (George W. Bush) was just a big mistake.

He also referred to the McCain-Palin pregnancy scandal, saying that republicans are the safest way to avoid a pregnancy. “Wear a condom or become a republican”, said Russell.

I still don’t see the connection between music and politics, but hey, it’s probably because there is no connection. But in America, everything is possible!

Russell also “joked” about the purity rings worn by the Jonas Brothers, and Jordin Sparks defended the boys saying “no everybody wants to be a slut”. I have to agree with her. America has enough problems with teenage mothers. That doesn’t mean every teenage should do what Jamie Lynn Spears did.

Anyway, I liked Rhianna’s performance, Disturbia. Too bad she sang too little, but she compensated that with her dancing skills.

The Jonas Brothers were the best, I loved their performance.

Britney Spears had won 3 awards: Best Female Video, Video of the Year, Best Pop Video all for Piece of Me. I personally don’t think she deserved them but hey, they needed a star and all they got was Britney Spears. It’s ok I guess, at least she’s not a train wreck anymore, the way she used to be just a year ago.

Pink performed “So what” outside the parking lot, her performance was incredible. Fire, stunts, explosions and rock - she had it all.

Mommy, Christina Aguilera performed a techno mix of her biggest his, Genie in a Bottle. This way she promoted her upcoming greatest hits album.

What I loved the most at the VMA’s? Pink’s performance! She’s still one rebel singer and one of my favorite!
By the way, I heard Britney Spears won 3 awards, including Best Female Video. with Piece of Me video. Is it just me or this year’s VMA’s were lacking of substance and glamour once had?

It seems that Britney Spears is on her way back to those good old days. She’s fit, she’s looking hotter than ever and she even started her dancing rehearsals.
It was about time. It seems that her father’s influence was a must.
I’m not really a fan, but I sure don’t like to hear all over the news about Miss Spears’s stupid deeds.
Anyway, I really hope she will be ok from now on.

I just got online and the first news I got to read about was about Bernie Mac’s death. He was one of my favorite comedians.

Recently he was checked into a hospital for pneumonia but everybody thought he was recovering just fine. Unfortunately, due to some complications he’s gone now!

Actor/comedian Bernie Mac passed away this morning from complications due to pneumonia in a Chicago area hospital,” his publicist, Danica Smith. Yahoo News!

I guess youngsters know Bernie from Oceans’ Eleven franchise, Charlie’s Angels or Transformers.

Bernie Mac was one of the greatest black comedians. He shall be missed!

I really am sick of all the girls and boys who want to be famous but they have nothing to do with music or acting!

1. Look at the Romanian Cheeky girls! For a person who lives in Romania, those girls are a disgrace! They lack of voice, style and they are pathetic! Who gives a damn about their personal life? The Daily Mail gives them to much credit for nothing!

Who cares that Gabriela dumped Lembit Opik? My God, she even uses her assumed pregnancy and had a miscarriage just to get more attention! Girls, go hang yourselves! You are pathetic and you are too blind to realize that!

2. Victoria Beckham. What did she do after getting married to David? All she did was giving birth to their cute babies. But that’s all she did! Musical career? She’s horrible! Fashion? Her style is awful! Gorgeous body? Are you joking? She’s got those enormous boobs but she’s skinnier than a skeleton!

3. Jordan - Katie Price. She’s the wife of singer Peter Andre. And that’s about all I really know about her! Oh, and she has kids. Katie looks terrible, smiles terrible and walks terrible. This girl has no sense of pathetic! Somebody please give her a mirror!

4. Paris Hilton. There are too many reasons why Paris is a wannabe!

5. Kim Kardashian. What did this girl do? She’s got a big butt, but I don’t know anything noticeable about her! Could you help me out with this?
