“Women are meant to be loved, not to be understood.” - Oscar Wilde
Bo Diddley, guitarist and founding father of rock’n'roll dies yesterday, June 2nd 2008 after a few months of illness. Last August he had suffered a heart attack after suffering from a stroke three months earlier. He then moved to Florida to continue rehabilitation.
Bo Diddley had dies at his home in Archer.
May God rest his soul in peace!
This morning I felt the need of listening to Aerosmith. When I was a teen they were among my favorite bands. Anyway, the strange thing is that after listening to some of their songs I opened my mail and started reading newsletters (I receive many newsletters every morning, although I really don’t read all of them) and I saw a headline that got my attention: Steve Tyler in rehab!
I was like : “Oh, no, I thought Steve is not doing drugs anymore.” Then I read the article and the truth is that the frontman from Aerosmith is actually in rehab for recovering after some foot surgeries. Apparently he had some foot problems (injuries) and now, at 60, he decided it was time to listen to the doctor and do something about that.
“The doctors told me the pain in my feet could be corrected but it would require a few surgeries over time,” Tyler said in the statement. “The ‘foot repair’ pain was intense, greater than I’d anticipated. The months of rehabilitative care and the painful strain of physical therapy were traumatic. I really needed a safe environment to recuperate where I could shut off my phone and get back on my feet.” Yahoo!
I guess he won’t be walking this way with his fans for a few months now! Right now I’m listening to “Walk this way”, Aerosmith feat. Run DMC.
God, I miss the days when musicians were really making music and models were just stupid Barbie dolls with their mouth shut in public!
This is Dan Balan aka Crazy Loop with his latest song: Joanna shut up! Hope at least you’re gonna like it
Meet Craig Harper, a club entertainer from Hull. He’s singing No Matter What from Boyzone. I have to admit he’s even better than the boys.
Enjoy!
Yes, they did it! Linda Cannon, a relative of the groom said that Nick and Mariah have stepped into the big hall of marriage.
The two dated for only 2 months and they decided to get married. This is Mariah’s second marriage (her first marriage with Tommy Mottola lasted 5 years) and the first for young Nick. The wedding took place at Carey’s private estate in Eleuthera.
Nick is 27, split from gorgeous Victoria’s Secret model Selita Ebanks and met Mariah while appearing in the video Bye, Bye, Mariah’s song. Ironic, isn’t it?
People say that Mariah (38) got a $2.5 million, 17 carat diamond engagement ring from Nick. Wow!
Perhaps I’m a bit mean, but they sure make a weird couple!
I really hope those pregnancy rumors are a false alarm and that the train wreck singer is not really pregnant. I hope she had a big lunch and she’s having a “fast food bump” not a baby bump.
Do you remember how Amy Winehouse used to look back then, in 2004? She was curvy and she was looking good, even hot I might say.
Nowadays Amy looks like a skeleton. She’s small, ugly and full of tattoos. I thought no men would ever set his eye on her but I guess drugs and money are more attractive than real beauty.
Anyway, Amy’s hubby is, as you most likely know, in Pentonville Prison. Nevertheless, Amy is not alone. It seems she’s still a man magnet (although I wouldn’t call that thing a man!). She and Kristian Marr were spotted in a park in Henley, Oxfordshire, on the weekend.
Surprisingly, Amy Winehouse insists that she still loves Blake Fielder Civil (that’s her hubby), they’re not getting divorced and that she’s not dating anyone.
Maybe it’s true, I really don’t care about her personal life. The thing that bothers me the most is that she’s being a terrible role model for teenagers. She’s too skinny, ugly and with no perspective in life. I really hope young girls won’t look up to her. Too many adolescents are fighting anorexia.
Take a look at her now and look how pretty she used to be.
