Remember Chloe Marshall, the girl who dreamed about winning the Miss England contest? It seems that another girl, this time a better looking girl, is trying to convince us that you can be a size 12 and still be smart. Like that would matter to a boy!

So, Emmalina Thompsell, who weighs 10st is in the finale for Miss East Anglia, according to the guys (and girls) from the Daily Mail, my favorite British tabloid. She’s so sweet! I hope the judges won’t be to harsh!

I have to admit: Emmalina is looking swell, she’s cute and she’s not that curvy like Chloe was (or still is!). She’s practically normal for her height and age!

See what I mean? Well, good luck Emmalina. You’re gonna need it.

Remember, you have my vote. I think you look great. Unlike Chloe who just embarrassed the whole big size female out there!

Her biggest dream was to make enough money to give her family a decent life. Mariana was a gorgeous brazilian model who thought she can be the next great supermodel and she got the looks! Oh, yes sir she looked like a goddess!

In 2007 and 2008, she was a finalist in the Brazilian stage of the Miss World pageant. Next month she was to participate in the second stage of a modeling competition held in Sao Paulo by Dilson Stein, the Brazilian model scout who discovered supermodel Gisele Bundchen.

Out of the sudden she contracted a seemingly ordinary urinary tract infection. The doctors told her she’s got kidney stones. Nobody knew she had contracted a bacteria that was about to put an end to a terrific modelling career and her life.

The bacteria spread quickly through her body being extremely drug resistant. The doctors from Rio de Janeiro tried to save her life so they decided to amputate her hands and feet. But that didn’t help.

Mariana Bridi died on Saturday, 24th of January. She was just 20 years old. Doctors are still searching how she contracted the deadly bacteria.

It’s a terrible thing to bury your child!

“God is comforting our hearts because he wanted her to be with him now. I can’t accept that my daughter left us so soon”,  her father Agnaldo Costa told reporters.

May God rest her in peace!

Amy is partying in the Carribean and we all know what party means for Amy! Tons and tons of alcohol spiced up with a bit of drugs (or perhaps she quit now that she’s left Blake?)

Too bad she’s wasting her life like that Amy Winehouse has an amazing voice and an incredible talent but she’s not very careful about her and her life. It’s such a shame!

Angelina Jolie announced twin pregnancy. Some thought Jessica Alba will have twins but … those were just gossip.

Marion Cottilard, Juno, No Country for Old Men, Ratatouille were the among the winners at the Academy Awards in 2008. If anyone cares, I loved “La Vie en Rose”!

Jennifer Lopez delivered twins, Max and Emme. She got $6 million for the first photos of the twins from People. She had enough money for diapers and milk.

Kosovo announced it’s independence. Hope things are finally going to sort out and there will be no more fighting over that land.

Beyonce and Tina Turner performed at the Grammy Awards, Amy Winehouse performed via satelite broadcasting and won 5 awards. Kanye West was loser of the night and got upset. Let it go dear, not everyone can see what a brilliant genius you are. Here is the winners list.

Roy Schneider died at age of 75.

Sarah Silverman screwed Matt Damon and she loved it. Later her boyfriend told us he’s screwing Ben Affleck.

Michael Jackson celebrated 25 years of Thriller, the best selling album.Too bad he’s still not back on track.

March:

Thomas Beatie is the first pregnant man in the world. Actually, he’s a man trapped in a woman’s body, meaning that he was born a female but changed his sex when she/he grew up.

Corrine Bailey Rae’s hubby was found dead. Drug overdose.

Valentina Hassan is the new Mariah Carey from Eastern Europe.

Arthur C. Clarke died at the age of 90.
Halle Berry welcomed a baby girl.
Jimmy Wales dumped his girl via Wikipedia. Not so nice of him.

April:
Cate Blanchett welcomed baby no. 3 while Emma Watson turned 18 and she looks hotter and hotter.
Farah Fawcett is fighting cancer again. Anorexia made another victim, Rosemary Pope, weighing less than 5 stone.
Hayley Wilde defeated anorexia. At least one saved life.
Chloe Marshall, the first size 16 model participated at the Miss England beauty pageant.

May:
Harvey Korman died at 81, Sidney Pollack died at 73 and Rob Knox was stabbed and killed on the side road.
The good news is that Zac Hanson welcomed a baby boy and Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon got married secretly.
Sex and the City movie had it’s premiere in London. And many people were wondering: what the hell was Sarah Jessica Parker thinking when she showed up with that thing on her head?

An 11 years old girl, pregnant with her uncle’s child had an abortion in England since Romanian doctors refused to do the procedure.
In June we danced around the world with Matt Harding.
Unfortunately, George Carlin died at the age of 71. On the other hand, Jamie Lynn Spears welcomed a baby girl.
Another death: Tim Russet, at the age of 58 due to a massive heart attack.

Sad because some hip hop bands were unable to get to the Hip Hop Kemp in Hradec Kralove, Czech Republic. The crown was incredible.

A German lady was recognized as being the author of a stick up after a witness saw her behind. She was big!!
Paul Newman died at 83.
Christina Applegate got well after her breast cancer alert and she looked fabulous on the red carpet at the 60th Primetime Emmy Awards. Unfortunately, Two and a Half Men won nothing.

Richard Wright died. Pink Floyd is officially gone.
It was a big hit for Britney Spears who won 3 awards at the 25th MTV Video Music Awards.

Weird people: wife divorced man after he had an affair in Second Life. She is now happy with a man she men while playing World of Warcraft.
Anastacia’s PR is sleeping or something like that. She looks stunning, younger and gorgeous. And oh, that voice …
Cindy Crawford is 42 and looks fabulous.
The Economic Crisis is harsh and many people lose their jobs and their homes. Some kill themselves.

December:
Perfect gifts for women. Naomi Watts welcomed a baby boy.
Britney Spears turned 27.
Geri Haliwell looks great and a malfunction of her dress helped us see that.
The Auto industry asks for funds but they are not ready to give up on flying with private jets and expensive trips to exotic places. No, the crisis is just for the lower class. The top class is still very rich.

There have been many other important events but I guess everybody knows about it.
I just hope that 2009 will be a better year.

In the MTV documentary “Britney: For The Record“, which was screened in the US on Sunday night, the singer told the world about how she feels, about how sad and lonely she is.
Although her latest album, Circus, has been waited by millions of fans, she’s still not happy.
I can’t blame her! How can you have a personal life with all the media around you, chasing you, following your steps?!
Her dream? “That would be heaven for me, to have my kids on an island and a man and no-one could get to us. That’s my thing. When I really love somebody I really love somebody. I give my all. I can’t get enough. I need to be around them all the time. It’s just the best feeling in the world when they give me that feeling.”
Britney broke down in tears when the questions were talking about her and her controlled life:
“You can’t really go there in a complete state of happiness because you’re scared it’s going to be taken away. So it’s better just not to feel anything at all and to have hope to feel the other way….
When I tell people the way I feel they hear me, but they’re really not listening. They hear what they want to hear. They don’t really listen to what I’m telling them. It’s bad. I’m sad.[...] I used to be a cool chick and I feel like the paparazzi has taken my whole cool slang away from me. About her life with Kevin Federline and the dreadful divorce, the singer said she wasn’t thinking clearly but wasn’t doing drugs: “People started thinking I was on drugs. You would think that I would have gone home, I would have taken the kids and I would have gone to Louisiana. I think back now and I’m like, “Why didn’t I in that fragile of a state?” I’m breastfeeding one kid and the other one’s with me and I have a nanny. Why didn’t I just give up and go to Louisiana?”

She longs for her children, she longs to live in New York, where her kids live with their father, Kevin: “My babies’ daddy lives there, so that’s why I have to be there. [...] Everything is coming together right now. I’m ready to make this a really good phase in my life. I choose to be a happy person. I choose not to be a bitter person. The lucky(?!) is Claudia Solis, an average woman who has been near him for the past years. In fact, she helped him lose about 250 kilos. The Mexican Manuel weighed 560 kilos.

The happy couple haven’t decided where are they going to held the religious ceremony because the future to be groom can’t leave the bed.

Rumors has it they will get married in bed and thus skip the party and move on straight to the “honeymoon bed” and adventures.

Coke kills sperm cells! Two scientists from Harvard (so, they aren’t any scientists, they are scientists from Harvard, got it?!) discovered that all sodas with Coke kill sperm cells. Apparently Coke makes sperm cells blow up. Now, I hope you’re not going to rush into it and use Coke as a contraceptive method.

The two Harvard scientists were awarded with the Nobel prize for most weird discoveries.

Of course Phillip is convinced that the doctor is not telling the truth and he decided to sue the doctor who deprived him from his beloved penis!

Well, Kentucky man you are just a bit lucky. A few years ago, in Romania, a man in his 30’s woke up without his penis because Dr. Ciomu mistook the surgery and cut off the man’s sausage. Ever since, whenever a doctor chops off his patient, we have a saying: “I guess he met dr. Ciomu”.
