Jason Castro - 1987. He’s so young. And he made it to American Idol.

This day is important because an American serial killer Gerard John Schaefer, was born.

He’s been linked to around 30 missing women and girls and has been condemned for two life sentences. Unfortunately for him, he was killed by his cell colleague, Vincent Rivera. Vincent didn’t want to tell the motive for stabbing Gerard and was sentenced to 53 more years in prison that were added to his 20 years he was already doing for double murder. And the rest is history! I guess that this guy was a muse for many script writers.

Jason Rae, age 31, hubby of Corrine Bailey Rae was found dead Saturday, at his home in Leeds, England. The cause of death appears to be a drug overdose. Friends knew about his substance abuse and say he struggled with his addiction for years.

Corrine is devastated. She was always talking about how fortunate she is for having found the love of her life so soon. The two got married in 2001 and soon after that Corrine’s music career took off. Jason was saxophonist with the group the Haggis Horns.

Here is a part of the West Yorkshire Police statement:

“Police were called to a flat in the Hyde Park area of Leeds - where they found the body of a 31-year-old man. A 32-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of supplying controlled drugs. He is now on police bail pending further enquiries.”

Bailey Rae’s record label EMI said in a statement:

“EMI Records would like to offer its sincere condolences to Corinne Bailey Rae and the Rae family at this tragic time. We ask that the media respects Corinne’s privacy and that of her entire family.”

I guess it’s pretty stupid to say “I’m sorry for your loss” when someone you loved with all your heart is gone.

Why do you need dark sunglasses while dancing? Why do you need sunglasses in clubs? I just don’t get it! You’re cooler if you’re wearing black glasses and nobody can see your eyes?!

This has got to be one of the best movie ads I’ve seen in the last few months. I’m not a fan of soap operas but I guess there are plenty of people out there just waiting for a new episode.

The famous and one of the best science fiction novelists, Arthur C. Clarke dies at age 90 in his home in Sri Lanka.

Clarke, who had battled debilitating post-polio syndrome for years, died at 1:30 a.m. in his adopted home of Sri Lanka after suffering breathing problems, aide Rohan De Silva said. - Yahoo News

The actress is 41 years old, this is her first child and the happy father is French Gabriel Aubry, 32 years old.

I wonder how much is she going to get for her first baby pictures and which magazine will battle for them. I just hope she’s going to give that money to charity, she’s got loads of money for diapers and baby clothes.

After all, Christina and Nicole are in a some sort of competition after Richie’s baby pictures were more popular than Aguilera’s.

Out of all pregnant celebrities Halle was by far the hottest!

The Romanian Bricklayer Costel Busuioc has won the contest Hijos de Babel, a tv show hosted by the Spanish national television. The first song he sang was “Nessum dorma” (None shall sleep), the final act from Puccini’s opera called Turandot.

Costel managed to win 44 points, becoming the publics favorite contestant.

Out of 4.000 contestants Costel Busuioc, also known as Pavarotti from Romania was selected to go further with the contest. His talent is now world wide known and due to that he Romanian singer was invited to take some canto lessons at The Vienna State Opera.

He has signed a contract with Sony and I bet we’re going to hear about his music in the following months. His talent will go down in history!

After the media mocked Lisa Marie Presley for becoming “fat”, it turned out that she’s actually pregnant. She’s 40 now. Go, go Lisa!

Also Matt Damon, the Bourne Identity star is going to be father for the second time. His wife, Luciana is pregnant (they didn’t say how far along is she) and this will be the couple’s second child. This would be the third child for Luciana, who’s the mom of 9 years old Alexia. In June 2006 Luciana gave birth to Isabella, Matt’s first child.
