“Women are meant to be loved, not to be understood.” - Oscar Wilde
Once upon a time there was a little girl from Louisiana who wanted to be a singer. She used to sing for her friends, for her parents and one day she went to join the talented other kids from the Mickey Mouse club. Her name is Britney Spears, the pop princess. When she grew up a little she started to sing for the whole world, delighted that she’s a singer now. Her success grew as she got older. She was young, beautiful, successful, rich but maybe
she felt a little overwhelmed. But, as it happens most of the times, the princess started to party a lot. She started to hang out with new friends, but she wasn’t capable to see that those friends will destroy her image, her self esteem. The paparazzi were following on her, she couldn’t take a step without being watched, photographed, judged. She met a guy, married him, made 2 children and still something was wrong. She couldn’t be herself, she couldn’t feel free. All the people around her, judging suffocated her. She did desperate things. Shaved her hair, went to rehab, tried to act like all her problems are gone. But things are not that easy. Now, most of the people point their finger at her, she’s given as a bad example, not to be followed. I guess success comes with too much sacrifice. I wonder, is it worthy?
