Twilight – the movie sucks but the book is good!

Yes, I do read books! :D Actually, I find Stephenie Meyer’s book relaxing and catchy. It was really fun reading it.

But the movie … a big NO! It sucked! There were two things I liked about it: the fact that Edward was played by Robert Pattinson (so hot!!!) and the soundtrack. Muse is great!

So, Rob is the new hot boy in town! He didn’t look that … juicy in Harry Potter, but maybe because HP is a kid’s movie! And, for God’s sake, when you’re watching a kids movie you’re not looking to see which actor is hot or not!

I didn’t like the way Kristen act! She was too inflexible, too rigid. Bella, the girl described in the book, was more fun, smiled more often and had clever lines. In the movie, Bella was like an emo kid!

Now, I’ve got a new obsession: Rob Pattinson. I guess I’m the only one, right? Me and other 2324243 milions of fans! :D

How did you like Twilight? Was is a good movie for you? Have you read the book?

  1. Well in my opion Kristen was pretty good any ways she was suppose
to act that way….. And if you don’t like it well that’s not her falut if the director told her to act that way…. and don’t get me wrong but Robert and Kristen really match……… PUT ON A BIG SMILE…. GOTTA DITCH

  2. I never got into the Twilight craze. I have to admit I was curious. Seeing the trailers for the film, I figured it would be some silly kiddie film……not interested. Then a month ago, a friend of mine asked if I had seen the movie or read the books. She was surprised when my response was “NO!”. She told me I had to read them and was going to bring over the first book for me. I thought I would give it a try, if I wasn’t into the book by the first few chapters I would give up. My Husband was out of town on business and I was bored, so I picked up Twilight and started to read. Seven hours later I read the last page and called my friend for the second book. I was hooked. I fell in love with the characters and story. She brought over the remaining three books and the movie. I was still not crazy about watching the film but hey..I had finished the book and was onto the second why not!!! Big mistake!!! I did not like the film at all.The acting was bad and I felt the movie did not convey the true relationship between Bella and Edward. These characters were already crated and imprinted in my head and what I saw on film was not even close. Also it did not explain the important details that really made up the story. I was not to bummed about the movie..I didn’t expect much to begin with..so I dove back into the second book and never looked back.
I read that the second film is not going to be directed by the same person..this could be a good thing. Due to this fact alone I am anxiously awaiting the new release….whenever that is..but again will not expect much. I am very happy with the film I have created in my head….
Just goes to show..Read the book first…You can interpret the book how you want whereas a film is from one persons perspective.

  3. Luna: I have read all the books and the 12 chapters of Midnight Sun, written from Edward’s point of view.
I loved the books, Stephenie Meyer has an amazing talent in writing. Although English is not my first language, I loved the books in English. Many clever and funny lines would have been wasted in the translation.
I’m glad you loved the books. We’ll just have to wait to see if New Moon is somehow better than Twilight which wasn’t really that much of a movie. But Rob is still hot :D

  4. Twilight is a thousand times better than Harry Potter. I really love this movie, it is the best movie i have ever watched.

  5. i love the chemistry between Kirsten Stewart and Robert Pattinson. Twlight will always be one of the best vampire-love story movies.

  6. Twilight is my favorite movie. it also inspired the HBO television series Trueblood because of the popularity of the Twlight Saga.
