Tim Russert dies at 58

The famous NBC newsman, Tim Russert died Friday of a massive heart attack. He was recording voice overs for Meet the Press.

Chief of cardiology at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill said:

“Russert’s death is a wake-up call to thousands of men who never thought they might be courting a coronary. [...] You wouldn’t believe the calls we’ve been getting [...] Here’s an example of a high-profile person who everyone thought was healthy. When someone like that has a medical catastrophe, it causes everyone to focus.”

Apparently, Tim has been diagnosed with coronary artery disease.

The anchorman tried to avoid having the same fate like his father by doing exercises, eating healthy food and even running miles. Unfortunately his heart failed.

May God rest him in peace!

Update: Luke Russert recalls his father, Tim.
