According to Reuters and Yahoo! News lipstick contains lead. A U.S consumer rights group found out that lipsticks from Christian Dior, L’Oreal and Cover Girl contain too much lead which causes serious “learning, language and behavioral problems such as reduced school performance and increased aggression”. Also ladies that are pregnant as well as young children are really vulnerable to lead exposure and it might produce miscarriage, infertility and other serious health problems.

Red lipstick tested by Bodycote Testing Group in Santa Fe found out that in about 33 brand name lipsticks lead in levels of 0.03 to 0.65 parts per million (ppm).

Specialists say that lipsticks can be made out of substances that don’t contain lead, and that they should apply for that recipe immediately.

So, no more lipstick that contains lead. I hope Jennifer Lopez read about this. She’s expecting her first baby and I really hope that she’s going to get through with her pregnancy. After all, she’s almost 40 and a woman that hasn’t given birth to a child is not a fulfilled woman.

Now I know why I don’t wear lipstick at all. It’s better to use lip balm. As for me, I just love the lip balm from Nivea.

The new movie called We own the night is released today, 12 October 2007 and the director is James Gray. Joaquin Phoenix, Eva Mendes and Mark Wahlberg are the stars of the movie. Here’s a trailer for you.

The Americans didn’t want him for president. George W. Bush started the war in Iraq while AL Gore was doing search upon the global warming and saving the Planet.

Well today ( 12.10 2007) Al Gore, the former vice president of United States of America, and the U.N’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change received the Nobel Prize for Peace. His documentary An Inconvenient Truth apparently succeeded in changing mentalities and made people realize that global warming is real, it is happening and if we go on the same way our hole existence would be in danger.

According to CNN, the award ceremony will be held Dec. 10 in Oslo, Norway and he will split with the IPCC about $1,5 million.

All celebrities are addicted to something. Either is sunglasses, expensive dresses or shoes they love to show off with their beloved possessions.

Well things aren’t going to a happy end for Britney Spears. After crashing a car in a parking lot in August and walking away from the accident scene the prosecutors found out that Brit had no valid license to drive her car. The singer’s attorney said that Brit “must go to any L.A. police station for fingerprints and mug shots.”
While trying to park her own car accidentally the 25 year old singer bumped into a Mercedes Benz, owned by Kim Robard-Rifkin. The paparazzi were all over the place, Brit was confused, she didn’t know what was going on and soon after she walked away smiling. Read the rest of this entry »

Out of rehab, that is! She went to rehab in August because she drove under alcohol influence. She was a drug and alcohol addict and she’s only 21.

Interviewed by the guys from Ok! Magazine Lindsay Lohan said that “It was a sobering experience. [...] It was humbling. It made me look at myself, and all of the people, places and things in my life in a different way. I was in there for substance abuse, after all.”. After rehab she patched things up with father Michael Lohan.

Well I just hope she’s stay out of drugs and alcohol for some time. It would be a shame to tell my grandkids that in my time most of the actresses were going in and out of rehab all the time. After all, it’s time for Lindsay Lohan to show us all that she can act. The Mean Girls role didn’t prove that she’s a great young actress, it proved that it’s very easy to be cool and stupid in the same time and not know the difference between having true friends and having friends that suck up to you for fame and money.

So, go go Lindsay!

It seems that faith is going to bless Jenny from the block with a baby. The couple hadn’t confirmed the news yet, but some say that they might announce it this week at J-lo’s hometown show in NYC’s Madison Square Garden. 

Jennifer Lopez seemed to have it have it all. A successful music career, a gorgeous husband, her own clothing line and lately her career at Hollywood is making progresses. Still she missed one thing: she had no children of her own. And that might be tragic for a woman who has it all. At least she’s strong and didn’t go crazy like Brit.

According to the In Touch magazine Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez went to a fertility specialist in Beverly Hills, Dr. Richard Katz.

Some even dare to say that Jenny had an ultrasound performed in a New York office last month. After many years of trying to get pregnant the singer decided to go to a specialist that will help the couple make a baby using the in vitro method.

I’m happy for her. It’s time for her to experience motherhood. Still can’t help thinking : how big her famous ass will get during and after the pregnancy? Oops …

Owen Wilson, the blond “wedding crasher” made his first public appearance to the premiere of latest film he stars, The Darjeeling Limited.

Wilson had a suicide attempt in late august and since then he wasn’t available for the public. Adrien Brody, Anjelica Huston, Jason Schwartzman and director Wes Anderson stood next to Owen when he walked on the red carpet.

I hope Owen Wilson will be alright. He’s really one of my favorite actors and it would be a shame to lose him. He’s just like Chris Rock, only white - both crazy and very funny.

Britney Spears is not going to be a great mother anymore. Not that she ever was, but yesterday a judge decided to give the custody of Sean Preston and Jayden James to Spears’s ex husband, Kevin Federline.

I really don’t know if she’s ever going to wake up from the nightmare she’s facing but I hope she does that for the sake of her and her kids. Kevin is not a great dad. He proved that when he married Spears. Kevin Federline has 2 more kids with his ex girlfriend and the marriage with Spears got him out of paying child support.

Unfortunately Spears has lost too many things lately. She has no more music career, no marriage, no real friends, no kids. I really hope she’s going to be fine and wake up to smell the real danger she’s facing.
