She is lying if she says she eats healthily and goes to the gym regularly. That is not healthy looking. For a girl her age she shouldn’t be that size. As for only weighing 12st 8lbs that’s rubbish! I weigh just under that and she’s a LOT larger than me! (I’m 5′ 8″ and medium build)

I don’t mind a girl with curvy toned figure but that’s beyond curves that is not attractive! Try and justify it to yourselves if you will but if that’s the best England has to put forward for a beauty pageant then god help ya’s!

OK I agree that the whole size zero model thing is wrong and many of which aren’t really attractive but cmon this is just taking it to the opposite extremes! We might as well be saying to our youth it’s OK to be fat. Britain already has an obesity problem without saying to people this is the norm

It’s actually possible to be “overweight” and still be perfectly cardiovascular-ly healthy. There have been studies done on this. Which then call into question what “overweight” actually means. “Heavier than _you’d_ like”? “Heavier than a socially-accepted-standard”?

Look into the research, ’cause what they’ve found is that weight is not a direct indicator of any kind of health in people who maintain a healthy level of exercise. And good diet does not equal weight loss. It is possible to be “fat” by your standards and yet be fitter than most chain-smoking caloriephobic fashion addicts.

If, as this woman says, she exercises and is happy and eats nutritious food, what’s the problem? She’s a fine role model, as far as body goes.

The problem with her weight in this situation is yours, not hers.

I think all this rubbish about her being ‘fat’ is quite ridiculous.
The Uk average size is 16, errr therefore she is average, shes tall so she’s not neccessarily OBESE, shes most likely to be normal for her height. And all the malicious comments about her body are really pathetic.
I really admire the confidence she has to do this competition even when she is probably aware that there would be some nasty things said about her. Confidence is one that makes her beautiful. And lets be honest, she has amazing boobs (and you are a moron to whoever said they were saggy jesus) and a really pretty face.
I’m all for her. She doesn’t do your typical page 3 stance like a lot of girls.

I think she is gorgeous and is a fantastic healthy role model to girls and women everywhere. Most men prefer woman with curves.. not stupidly thin people that are obsessed with what they eat !
