“Women are meant to be loved, not to be understood.” - Oscar Wilde
Don’t know about you but when it comes to pick a place to spend my holiday, I’m always having troubles in finding the perfect place, if there is such thing as “perfect place”.
So after reading some articles about different places where I can relax and get a beautiful sun tend, I decided to share what I found with you. According to the “The Guardian” one of the most beautiful places on Earth is Las Islas Cies, Galicia, Spain. You probably heard about the Mediterranean Sea that washes the coast of Spain. The coast Galicia is situated at North of Portugal, where the Atlantic Ocean washes it’s shores. The coast is more private and less crowded. The clean sand and the blue water just seem to ask for you.
The Cies Island is only at 40 minutes distance from the city called Baiona. I bet you didn’t know that the island was used as a shelter by pirates, of course a long, long time ago. Now it’s main attraction is the National Park, opened only during summer time. Locals come here to spend some time on Praia das Rodas, a sheet of smooth sand surrounded by cristal water. There are even possibilities of camping.
If you want something more private you can chose any island in Palawan, Philippines. There are about 7.000 islands and only a few of them were once lived by people.
All you have to do is get supplies and a boat. This way you can chose your own route and find the island you desire. At west of Palawan you can find a bunch of islands crossed by many subterranean rivers, virgin forests and beaches with white, smooth sand.
For those of you used to beautiful white sand and calm turquoise water the Tayrona National Park in Columbia will be a great surprise. Wild waves are washing the huge stones along the beach and the view is awesome.
If Columbia isn’t a choice for you then how about England? To be more precise I recommend Shell Beach situated on Purbeck Island in Dorset, England.
Don’t worry you won’t find anything there that reminds you of noisy London. On the docks there are many ships and going on a trip in the open sea isn’t a bad idea at all. Beside it’s a great opportunity to find out just how do British people treat tourists.
There are many other beautiful places on Earth. I could write about them a couple of years from now on if only time would allow it.
But the most important thing is that you should try to preserve the nature just the way it is. It would be a great loss if someday you wake up and realize that all good things made by God aren’t there anymore.
So, where would you go?
