Great people who died too young
They say death has nothing to do with age, sex or location. Still the Grim Reaper decided it was time for some great people to leave this world and he chose Hollywood’s best actors, actresses and musicians.
Let’s see some of the best people that died too early.
1. Rudolph Valentino
In May 1895 Hollywood met Rodolfo Alfonso Raffaello Piero Filiberto Guglielmi. Later he was about to become the famous Latin Lover, Rudolph Valentino. He was Italian, sexy and an icon of mute movies, such as The Sheik. In August 1926 Valentino collapsed at the Hotel Ambassador in New York City. He had perforated ulcer and has underwent surgery. In August 23 1926 the Latino Lover died. He was 31. Many people mourned his death and felt sorry for him for wasting his life with wives like Natacha Rambova and Jean Acker.
2. James Dean
In February 1931 the world met James Byron Dean. He was an icon of the ’50s and was very famous for “Rebel without a cause“. James had another passion, race cars. Unfortunately that dangerous passion brought him closes to the end because on 30 September 1955 James Dean died after a car crash, in a head-on collision. At the time of the death James was only 24.
3. Ritchie Valens and Buddy Holly
Richie and
Buddy
A famous singer, Ritchie Valens was very famous for his music. Actually he was a pioneer of rock and roll and a forefather for Latin Rock. Many of you recall the song La Bamba, Ritchie’s most famous song. February 3 1959 is The Day The Music Died because in a small plane crash the Grim Reaper took the life of Ritchie Valens and Buddy Holly, a great American songwriter. Ritchie was 18 and Buddy was 23.
4. Janice Joplin
Janice was born in January 1943 in Texas. She is famous for her blues, rock and folk music. Great lyrics and an impressive voice Janice was an icon of the hippie period. Unfortunately she just looked strong. Facing nervous breakdowns and always concerned about how the public gets her she started using drugs and alcohol to calm her nerves. Those bad habits finally got her down and in October 4th 1970 she was found dead in a Los Angeles hotel room. According to official statements the cause of the death was a heroin overdose accelerated by alcohol. Too bad, she was only 27 years old.
5. Jim Morrison
Jim was also 27 at the time of his death and as Janice he had some problems with alcohol and drugs. Jim Morrison was born in December 8th 1943 and a day before 4th of July Jim Morrison was found dead in the bathtub in his apartment in Beautreillis, Paris. Because the French law didn’t ask for an autopsy if no evidence of foul play is found near the body, many people don’t believe that Jim died of a overdose. He was a songwriter, a documentary director and lead singer in the band The Doors. He’s life was full of controversy and before his death he had an affair with Janice Joplin who recalled their relation in Living and Dying with Jim Morrison. It’s such a shame!
6. Bruce Lee and Brandon Lee
Bruce Lee
Brandon Lee
China’s most famous fighter and actor, Bruce Lee was born in November 27 1940. I guess all of you heard about Bruce Lee’s martial art skills and he’s an icon of the Chinese martial arts movies. In 1973 he died of a cerebral oedema caused by a painkiller, Equagesic, administrated by Ting Pei, a Taiwanese actress. Brandon Lee followed his father’s footsteps and was also famous for his martial art skills. He was just eight when his father died and moved back to United States. Brandon died in March 31 1993 after a gun that didn’t had blind bullets was used during a shooting scene for the movie The Crow. Many people say that the two were cursed to die in a period of 20 years one after another.
7. River Phoenix
The older brother of famous Joaquin Phoenix, River was born in August 23 1970 and is best known for his role of young Indiana Jones in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, in which he appeared with Harrison Ford. Besides acting River was also a singer and started the band Aleka’s Attic. In October 31 1993, after taking a highly strong drug River collapsed in front of the Viper Room, a night club owned by Johnny Deep. At the scene Joaquin and sister Rain were present, they tried to revive River but his heart stopped. He was just 23 years old.
8. Kurt Cobain
Nirvana is on of the most famous grunge bands ever and Kurt Cobain is an icon of the Generation X and Smells Like Teen Spirit has become an anthem. Kurt was born in February 20, 1967 in Seattle. He was a song writer, a guitarist and a lead singer for Nirvana. He was married to singer Courtney Love and the two have a daughter, Frances Bean Cobain. At the time of death Kurt accused some stomach pain and in April 5, 1994 he shot himself with a shotgun in his house in Seattle. He was found dead 3 days later by an electric company employee. Kurt was 27 when he died.
9. Aaliyah
Her real name is Aaliyah Dana Haughton and was born in January 16, 1979. One of the 90’s best female artists Aaliyah was 14 when R. Kelly married her. On the marriage license her age was modified in 18 and after this went public the marriage was annulled. Her top albums are Age Ain’t Nothin’s But A Number, that went platinum soon after it was released. The singer was on a plane that just left the airport of Bahamas and soon after crashed. In Bahamas Aaliyah just finished wrapping up filming for video “Rock the boat”. She was 22.
10. John Belushi
Younger brother of James Belushi, John is famous The Blues Brothers, Saturday Night Live and Animal House. Unfortunately, as frequently happens John was a drug addict. On March 5, 1982 John was found dead in his room an Chateau Marmont, Los Angeles. The forensics established that the cause of the death was 11 speedballs, an injection of heroin and cocaine. The night he died John was accompanied by Robert de Niro and Robin Williams who left him later with Cathy Smith who have John the fatal shot. She was extradited to Toronto and after a plea bargain arrangement the charges were reduced to involuntary manslaughter and got a sentence of 18 months in prison.
All these 10 people killed themselves or died as a result of an accident. It’s a shame that some of Hollywood’s greatest celebrities are too unstable and suffer from massive nervous breakdowns. It guess the pressure is just too big and the weak ones always suffer first.
I hope they rest in peace!

You need to learn how to construct a proper sentence. I take it english is NOT your first language.
Nope, English is not my first language. But what has that got to do with the subject of this post?

You guys forgot Jimi Hendrix how also died that same year along with Morrison & Joplin at 27.
Yes , it was very thoughtful to post this information in memory of these talented, young, and famous people. It is tragic that they all died so young. They had so much more of their talents to share. I would have loved to meet Bruce Lee.
As for you jerks pointing out the admin’s mistakes, what positive things have you contributed to your fellow man lately? Maybe it should have been you instead of these great contributors; you no-talent Internet-surfing dorks!
Great stuff, maybe a few more could be added to this i.e. Heath Ledger?
david it’s janis not janice and belushi not bellucci, shouldn’t you know that if you admire them so much?.

I found it very informative, it’s such a tragedy that all these people died so young but I especially miss Brandon Lee, I loved him in The Crow movie and I was also a huge fan of Bruce Lee minus the horrible dubbing, anyway thank you for posting this list lest we ever forget.
River Phoenix was such a great actor, if he had lived he would have been phenomenal. RIP River
My heart still bleeds when i think of Aaliyah having died so young – she was so talented. RIP Aaliyah
