How many of you looked up at celebrities and thought about how lucky they are, how happy they seem to be and how they seem to have it all?! Well many of you will be surprised to hear that those people that are meant to entertain us have been through rough times. From rape cases to murder, they’ve seen it all and they still have the courage to leave behind all that dark time of their life and make something useful with their talents. Normality is just a form of speech.

They say that Vincent (Tobey’s dad) was convicted for 2 years in jail but after serving his punishment Vincent went straight and went back to work legally. I’m really not sure about this. I read somewhere that Vincent was a cook and sometimes a constructions worker and that Tobey got to see his dad pretty seldom because he was living mostly with his mom, Wendy Brown. The two parents divorced when baby Tobey was only two and he lived most of his childhood on the run, from one town to another.

The Natural Born Killers star, Woody Harrelson has a hitmas as a dad. Or better said, had a hitman as a dad because Charles Harrelson died in march 2007 of a heart attack. He was facing 2 lifetime sentences for killing a federal judge and back then when Woody was only 7, Charles was accused of killing a Texan business man. Now I know why Woody played his roles so good! It’s a miracle that Charles didn’t get the death penalty.

A beautiful couple, Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale share a secret: Daisy Lowe. I bet you all wonder who Daisy is. Gavin said he’s Daisy’s godfather but, in 2004, he revealed the fact that the young lady is actually his daughter with Pearl Lowe, a singer-songwriter turned fashion and texiles designer (Wikipedia!). Now Gavin is facing a trial over backdue child support payments. Troubles in music, troubles in love life! Gavin is now the father of 2: Daisy and Kingston James, the baby he has with Gwen Stefani.

Let’s see the ladies. Charlize Theron’s father was killed by her mother. The fact is that Charlize’s father was an alcoholic and got very violent, like most people that have drinking problems. He used to verbally abuse the child and Gerda, Charlize’s mom, got sick of his violent act. When the actress that had won an Academy Award for leading role in Monster, was just 15 years old, Gerda shot Charles in self defense and she was never charged with the murder. Charlize stated that if she were in her mother’s shoes she would have done the same thing for her daughter.

For the past 2 years Britney Spears is acting ridiculously and strange. She divorced Kevin Federline, used drugs, partied all night long, forgot about her small children, crashed some cars and shaved her head. She lost custody of her boys and made a foul out of herself at the MTV Awards. It seems that she’s not the only one in her family that’s behaving this way. Emma Jean Spears, Britney’s grandmother committed suicide when she was 31. It seems that Emma’s son died 3 days after he was born and due to the fact that she was suffering from depression she committed suicide on her son’s graveyard. She used a shotgun and with a toe she fired a bullet in the chest. Emma left behind 4 other children, including Jamie Spears, Britney’s father. Unfortunately, two brother’s of Jamie are registered with criminal records and homeless. I feel bad for Britney!

John Draper Witherspoon, Reese’s brother, was 29 when he got arrested for aggravated burglary and sexual battery. It seems that he entered his neighbor’s house and tried to undress her while she was sleeping. John was released on parole and Reese made sure that he wouldn’t do stupid things anymore. Still the man is a sex addict!

One of the most powerful woman in media is surely Oprah Winfrey. She’s a role model for millions of young ladies around the world and her fame and fortune are more famous than herself. If you didn’t know, Oprah’s childhood was hard. At 9 she was raped by one of her cousins, being molested for many years by some family friends and uncles. She was young and scared and told no one. At 14 she gave birth to a baby that soon after died. She was devastated and decided she deserves more. Her decisions put her where she’s right now and made her stronger. Not many women that are facing sexual abuses find the strength to go ahead with their life and leave all the dark side behind.
