A few tips to lose some weight
If your metabolism is slow and you find difficulties in loosing weight here are some tips you could try.
First of all try to avoid stress! Let me tel you why. When under stress your body releases cortisol, a steroid that slows down the metabolism.
Second, how long has it been since the last time you worked out? For a half an hour a day you can leave the Tv behind and move your muscles. It’s not like I’m telling you to do something difficult. Jogging helps a lot, walking in the park also is a good way of working out your muscles. Important is that you exercise every day.
Another problem of people who face weight problems is that they don’t sleep as much as their body needs. The city life, family problems, parties, etc lead to many sleepless nights and because of lack of sleep your body uses food as a energy generator. That’s why people who are in a lot of stress and don’t sleep as much as they need become fat in short time.
I bet all of you heard at least one friends saying that water makes you fat. This mith is far from the truth. Water hydrates your body. Still it’s best for you to avoid sodas, caffeine and juices that are too sweet. You need to lose weight not to make diabetes.
Another mith is that vitamins makes you gain weight. Not true. One of the most efficient vitamin is vitamin B. It’s true that vitamins makes you ask for more food but it’s us who decide to eat more or not.
And finally, eat. For God’s sake, eat but with measure. Avoid fast-food, junk food, caffeine and try to eat at least one fruit a day.
Well, this tips won’t get you slimmer but will sure help you take care of you and your daily diet. Just remember, do not try to lose weight in a few days. If you’re on the right diet the results will see in a few months.
