“Women are meant to be loved, not to be understood.” - Oscar Wilde
I really hope those pregnancy rumors are a false alarm and that the train wreck singer is not really pregnant. I hope she had a big lunch and she’s having a “fast food bump” not a baby bump.
Very sexy and glamorous the stars from Sex and The City were present last night, 12 May 2008 in London at the world premiere of the Sex and The City movie.
Photographers and stars, all lined up on the red carpet set in front of the Odeon Leicester Square just to see Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon. All four of them were sexy, elegant and gorgeous. Despite the fact that Sarah Jessica Parker showed with a green thing on her head (I really don’t know what on Earth was she thinking when she accepted that … thing) everybody had a wonderful time.
Here’s a trailer of the movie.
Do you remember how Amy Winehouse used to look back then, in 2004? She was curvy and she was looking good, even hot I might say.
Nowadays Amy looks like a skeleton. She’s small, ugly and full of tattoos. I thought no men would ever set his eye on her but I guess drugs and money are more attractive than real beauty.
Anyway, Amy’s hubby is, as you most likely know, in Pentonville Prison. Nevertheless, Amy is not alone. It seems she’s still a man magnet (although I wouldn’t call that thing a man!). She and Kristian Marr were spotted in a park in Henley, Oxfordshire, on the weekend.
Surprisingly, Amy Winehouse insists that she still loves Blake Fielder Civil (that’s her hubby), they’re not getting divorced and that she’s not dating anyone.
Maybe it’s true, I really don’t care about her personal life. The thing that bothers me the most is that she’s being a terrible role model for teenagers. She’s too skinny, ugly and with no perspective in life. I really hope young girls won’t look up to her. Too many adolescents are fighting anorexia.
Take a look at her now and look how pretty she used to be.

Today, when I opened the Daily Mail I saw an article about Mischa Barton and her not so perfect body. So what?
She’s like millions of other ladies. Just because she’s a star doesn’t mean she’s not allowed to have bad days, cellulite or a bad hair day. After all, we’re all humans.
Mischa was spotted sunbathing in Australia and of course photographers couldn’t resist in taking lots of photos. After all, Mischa is a celebrity, right?! NOT!
Anyway, she may be only 22 but I think cellulite has nothing to do with age. Those bloody paparazzi can’t help but point fingers at her and laugh, just like they did with Jennifer Love Hewitt (I really love the way she looks). Even you, yes you, the one reading these lines, have bad bikini days.
For all those teenagers out there thinking Mischa looks very bad, remember she looks ok now. I love the way she looks after putting on a few pounds. A few months ago she was scary skinny and I really hate skin and bones bodies.
This is Ali’s story fighting a dreadful disease: anorexia nervosa. I admire her because she has the courage to tell her story on national television. Maybe more and more teenagers will listen to her story and realize being the thinnest is very unhealthy.
In my previous post I was showing you a video of Chloe Marshall, the first size 16 model to enter the Miss England competition. Well, I’m not right person to tell you what to eat or how to look, I’m just showing you that you really must find a balance between eating and exercising. And most of all, you got to love the way you are.
It’s better to love life and do things with those you love. As a teen I was never wondering if my body was slim enough. I was eating everything I wanted and still wasn’t curvy. And this because I was (and still am) a very active person, always running from one place to another and didn’t feel the need to look in a mirror and say : “Hey, am I looking like a model now?”.
As I said, teenagers should listen to Ali’s story and realize, once and for all, that being the skinniest is not healthy. And nor being fat. Love your body and love your life.
This is part one of her story, scroll down for more.

A girl who’s size zero looks like death? Being “curvy” like her is healthy? In a couple of years you will surely change that mentality. She’s pretty, has a very pretty face but her body is fat not curvy. Kim Kardashian, Beyonce and Jennifer Lopez are curvy (at least Jennifer was curvy before her pregnancy). Even Jennifer Love Hewitt is curvy, being a size 2. Heck, even Mary J. Blidge has a curvy body.
Having a fat belly doesn’t make you curvy, it makes you fat and that’s dangerous for your health.
Anyway, I wish Chloe a lot of success but I really hope she won’t be taken as a role model.
This is the story of James Karl Buck, a student from the University of California-Berkley who got arrested during a trip to Mahalla, Egypt. On April 10 James and his translator, Mohammed Salah Ahmed Maree were covering an anti-government protest when Egyptian police came and arrested them. The two were photographing outside a police station where the family of those who were detained asked some explanations about their relatives.
Fortunately James was able to send a one word message to another blogger friend through Twitter. The word was “Arrested“. The message alerted all his friends and bloggers in USA and Egypt.
One of the bloggers who got the message, Hossam el-Hamalawy, was writing updates on his blog to let everyone know how was James and Mohammed doing. Every couple of hours James was sending messages saying that he was still arrested but had not been charged.
On April 6 a protest against rising food prices and decreasing wages in Mahalla had been shut down by Egyptian and due to this fact the family of those who had been detained and other protesters got out on the streets and threw Molotov cocktails. They continued the protest until April 10. Then James and his translator went to Mahalla to see for themselves as James was working on a multimedia project on Egypt’s “new leftists and the blogosphere”, a part of his master’s degree thesis. He’s studying Journalism
Finally, James was set free but his translator and friend Mohammed was still detained. Officials said he was released on April 13 but nobody heard about Mohammed.
