Nicholas Sarkozy

So George W. Bush isn’t the smallest president after all. At least he’s taller than the French president, Nicholas Sarkozy.  Unfortunately I can’t say the same thing about their IQ! :P

P.S: I don’t know if this picture is for real or is photoshoped! What do you think?

A British guy from Devon (South West England), who had won £6.9million at the National Lottery, lost his prize because he didn’t come to claim it.

The winners are given 180 days to claim their prizes otherwise they will lose any rights to claim it after.

A National Lottery spokesman said:

“We were desperate to unite the ticket-holder with their winnings. This amazing prize could have really made a difference to somebody’s life.”

Look on the bright side: the money are now given away to charity!

Geert Wilders’ film about the Quran

Mar 28, 2008 Author: admin | Filed under: Video, death, lifestyle, politics, stupid

I feel the need to comment upon this subject! Maybe the Quran is talking about killing and destroying the enemy (I don’t know, I’ve never had any interest in reading it) but I don’t think that we should blame only the Arab terrorists for the 9/11 events.
Anyway, I’m not a religious person and I find it stupid to kill someone in the name of religion! If you look back in history you’ll see how many atrocities people committed in the name of God. It’s stupid!
Yes, people feel the need to believe in a higher presence, in something spiritual and powerful but I think religion is about manipulating people and brain washing!

Prison Break - season 4

Mar 28, 2008 Author: admin | Filed under: Hollywood, celebrity gossip, movies

The filming for Season 4 will begin in May, in Los Angeles and is planned to be 22 episodes.

The great news is that Sarah Wayne Callies is coming back as Dr. Sara Tancredi. So, the producers will have to put her head together and film another great Prison Break season.

She left the set because she was pregnant with her first child. There were rumors that Sarah and the producers got into some sort of strong disagreements, she didn’t want to do some scenes and the producers got mad, I don’t really know much and frankly I don’t care. Maybe it was all due to her pregnancy and her weird moods. All I know is that Dr. Sara is back! I was hoping for a comeback because Lincoln saw the head just for a few seconds.

In June 2002 Sarah married a martial art teacher, Josh Winterhalt and in July 2007 they welcomed their first baby girl named Keala Winterhalt.

I can’t wait to see Wentworth Miller again!

Sexist attitude in a clinic in Spain

Mar 27, 2008 Author: admin | Filed under: funny, lifestyle, politics, stupid, woman stuff

Punishment! About 20 nurses from a clinic in Cadiz, Spain who are wearing pants during work are payed with 30 euro less than the rest of the fellow colleagues.

The San Rafael clinic nurses are outraged after they were told their paychecks were going to be cut back with 30 euro due to the fact that they are refusing to wear short skirts.

More than 20 nurses decided they are nursing sick people not stripping in front of their patients, so they decided to wear trousers while at work.

Unfortunately, the management disagreed and decided to cut back 30 euro out of their monthly paychecks due to “breach of trust and Hospital orders”. It seems that the management have stated some rules, which imply wearing a short skirt while on duty.

“It’s like we’re sex toys in those clothes. The strange uniform is imposed by the management but we feel extremely uncomfortable wearing it. Every time we bend over the bed to treat a patient, we must be very careful because every sudden move can reveal the underwear. This is wrong for our patients and disgraceful for us.”, said Adela Sastre one of the nurses at San Rafael clinic. “I don’t understand why can’t we wear normal clothes, normal size skirts. It’s not fair to cut back money from our paychecks. We’re decided to do something about this even if that means going to court!”, concluded Adela.

I wonder what was the reaction from the Cardiology in-patients.

Thomas Beatie - the first pregnant man

Mar 27, 2008 Author: admin | Filed under: funny, lifestyle, love, pregnancy, woman stuff

Thomas Beatie seems to be the first pregnant man. Well, this affirmation is not very accurate because Thomas Beatie was a woman, before changing his sex.
Thomas is trangender so she decided to change her sex.

To our neighbors, my wife, Nancy, and I don’t appear in the least unusual. To those in the quiet Oregon community where we live, we are viewed just as we are — a happy couple deeply in love. Our desire to work hard, buy our first home, and start a family was nothing out of the ordinary. That is, until we decided that I would carry our child.

His wife, Nancy is unable to give birth due to severe endometriosis 20 years ago.

This whole process, from trying to get pregnant to being pregnant, has been a challenge for us. The first doctor we approached was a reproductive endocrinologist. [...] He then required us to see the clinic’s psychologist to see if we were fit to bring a child into this world and consulted with the ethics board of his hospital. A few months and a couple thousand dollars later, he told us that he would no longer treat us, saying he and his staff felt uncomfortable working with “someone like me. In total, nine different doctors have been involved. This is why it took over one year to get access to a cryogenic sperm bank to purchase anonymous donor vials, and why Nancy and I eventually resorted to home insemination. ”

Here’s the a screen shot of the controversial article from The Advocate, online edition.
