“Women are meant to be loved, not to be understood.” - Oscar Wilde
Why is a woman more expensive than a man?
Just do the math :
A woman has
Per total a woman costs about $ 139.58.
On the other hand, a man has
Per total a man costs about $1.00!

Yeap, it’s now official. Angelina Jolie and boyfriend Brad Pitt are expecting twins. They broke the news while attending the Independent Spirit Awards on Saturday. The couple looked very happy on the red carpet and Angelina wore a black long dress that revealed her baby bump.

I bet they wish to make 4 more babies, just enough for a soccer team (11). Right now the Brangelina couple have 4 kids : Maddox, Shiloh, Zahara and Pax.

During a visit at the Agriculture Saloon Nicholas Sarkozy forgot about manners and told a man from the crowd “Casse-toi, pauvre con!” which means “Go to hell, you fool!” (this is a polite translation!).
It seems that the man didn’t want to be touched by the president of France, and told Sarkozy not to touch him cause he’ll get dirty. The French president responded in a strange way. Maybe he forgot he is the president of France and forgot his manners back home, in bed with his supermodel wife, Carla Bruni.
Here is the video from the Agriculture Saloon.

I thought this day is never going to come but finally Jennifer Lopez gave birth to a baby boy and a baby girl. Jenny, who is 38 gave birth to her first kids while for Marc Anthony the two new born are just two more. Marc has 3 more kids: Ariana who is 13, Cristian 7 and Ryan who’s 4. I really hope that those babies will have Jennifer’s figure and Marc’s body, cause I wouldn’t want to see a big ass boy.
The babies were born at 12.12 AM at North Shore University Hospital, Long Island. The girl came first and a few minutes later the boy decided to show up.
The best part of this pregnancy? Marc and Jenny sold the right for the first photograph for $6 million to People. Yeah, you heard that well. Six million dollars! That should cover for all the diapers and milk for the twins.
I always heard that a book is 100 times better than a movie based on the book. After reading Memoirs of a Geisha and Interview with a Vampire I came to the same conclusion.
Memoirs of a Geisha - Arthur Golden
I first read the book then I saw the movie. Arthur Golden describes the poor house, the village, Chiyo’s mother in a dramatic way and her sister a bit older. When I read the book I imagined a house that’s one second away from falling apart, a sick woman that looks more like a skeleton and Chiyo’s eyes lighter. In the movie the house doesn’t look at all that poor and the girl’s eyes are not Blue-Grey as Arthur described. Also the thing I hated about the movie was the fact that they gave little attention to the tea ritual and the art of make up and kimono.
There were also misinterpretations of mizuage, the ceremony which Arthur Golden said in his book that consists in deflowering the geisha. In fact the truth is that this ceremony means that the geisha has come to adulthood which consists in changing her hairstyle and clothing.
Anyway, I liked the book better.
Interview with the Vampire - Anne Rice

I read the book after I watched the movie. When I first saw Interview with a Vampire it gave me the chills. The room was dark, everybody was asleep, outside a storm was messing with the town and I was watching Brad Pitt as Louis and Tom Cruise as Lestat sucking blood out of young ladies. Yes, the movie is great but there are things in the book that are much better described and some interesting scenes were cut out of the movie. I guess the movie is just too long and they had to cut something out to make it shorter.
Yes, the book is way much better than the movie. That if you still read books!
I’m sure everyone of you heard about the unilateral declaration of independence of Kosovo. I got online and searched for informations and pictures about Kosovo. Reading some historical references I found out about how Tito included Kosovo in Yugoslavia.
After Tito died, in 1981 Albanians started fighting Serbians for their “rightful” country. They even asked for unification with Albania. In 1992 the first president of Kosovo was elected. His name was Ibrahim Rugova and he was the one who started building the republic of Kosovo. People had access to their own churches, hospitals, schools and many more but the republic had no army until 1997 when UCK (Ushtria Çlirimtare e Kosovës), the Kosovo Liberation Army started fighting Serbians. Their main goal was to obtain independence of Kosovo no matter what, even if people were killed during the process. (more…)
