• Also the Congress Library has posted many photos from the archive on Flickr. Apparently it’s some sort of project to show the world what great pictures the Congress has in the Library. Here’s one of those awesome photos already posted on Flickr.

• If you love your dog but cannot understand him this is your lucky century. Some Hungarian scientists have developed a software that translated your dog’s crawls, barks etc. I would suggest you to be careful with this brand new discovery because I’m sure some dogs will not feel comfy now that people can understand them. I wonder if Paris Hilton’s dog could talk what would he say? Or will he be able to act like a normal dog? Read the article on BBC. Woof!

• Fans of Scrabulous have put out campaign to save their favorite game from being removed from Facebook. Why would they want this popular game removed?! I tell you, this seems to be more serious than the writers strike. By the way, why did the writers go on strike? Oh, money … must be funny in a rich man’s world! I really don’t know what’s up with all celebrities. It seems that in Hollywood there’s a plague that’s getting to many actresses/ singers/ models pregnant. What do they eat or drink?

Yup, it’s now official. Pamela Anderson is going to be a mommy for the third time. Although she’s more decided than ever to continue with the divorce, Pammy is pregnant for the third time with soon to be ex hubby Rick Salomon.

Pamela has two sons, Brandon and Dylan, with Motley Crue rocker Tommy Lee, during their 3 year marriage. This was the longest marriage for Pam. In 2006 she married Kid Rock but divorced him after only 4 months of marriage.

This is a good news. Now people will remember not only the time the baby was conceived but also how it was conceived. (yes, I’m talking about the famous sex tape of Pam and Rick having sex).

Another celebrity that is going to get more familiar with parenthood is Matthew McConaughey. His girlfriend, Camila Alves is pregnant in three months now and is due to give birth sometime in June 2008.

On his website Matthew wrote:

We are stoked and wowed by this miracle of creation and this gift from God, and so excited for the adventure that will come in raising this child, being a mother and a father

Congratulations to them and hope the baby will come healthy in this world.

When I woke up this morning and turned my computer on I was shocked when I read about Brad Renfro’s death.

He was just 25 years old and had a life ahead to prove that he’s a good actor. Unfortunately Miss Death decided it was time for Brad to go meet the Big Boss.

For now the cause of death is unknown but there are records that Brad had some drinks with some friends the night before he died. The thing is that the actor was having some problems with alcohol and was trying to stay sober. In 2006 he served a 10 days in jail penalty for driving while intoxicated and guilty to attempted possession of heroin.

In a statement the president of the Senator Entertainment, Marco Weber said that

“Brad was an exceptionally talented young actor and our time spent with him was thoroughly enjoyable”

Brad Renfro made an exceptional role in “The Client“, a movie that was based on John Grisham’s book and he just finished filming for “The Informers“, a movie based on the novel of Bret Easton Ellis. He stared in this film with actors like Billy Bob Thorton, Winona Ryder and Brandon Routh.

I sure hope Britney didn’t do it again! I hope that for her own sake! Of course I’m talking about the wedding dress she’s been photographed wearing out on the streets.

Maybe she decided to take that old dress out of the closet and wear it hopefully nobody will notice that it’s the same dress she wore when she got married to loser Kevin Federline.

If she’s ever going to get married I hope she buys herself another white wedding dress. Or better yet, a pink one! (it’ll match the pink fake hair)

I really don’t know what’s on her mind, I don’t know if she wants her kids back (if she would she should get her ass in the court room) but I’m really starting to think she’s really doomed!

This American Dream sucks! I’d rather live a French dream instead!

Wednesday night honorary mayor of Hollywood, Johnny Grant, died. He was 84 and according to Los Angeles police statements the mayor appeared to have died of natural causes. His body was found at the Roosevelt Hotel, where Grant use to live. According to Jim Harper, Grant’s manager for the last 60 years, the brilliant radio and TV producer said he’s feeling “lousy” Wednesday afternoon, before he passed away. Many of you remember Grant for being the person in charge to designate a new Walk of Fame star for a new star. He served his job very well and he was loved.

Another old but successful celebrity in Hollywood that passed away is Maila Nurmi, Vampira from the famous “The Vampira Show“, a movie broadcast on KABC TV in Los Angeles. The show first broadcasted in 1954 and about a year after was canceled. She died Thursday night at age 85.

This weekend there were no music concerts, no social events because this weekend two celebrities were busy giving birth.

Friday, January 11 2008 Nicole Richie gave birth to a baby girl, Harlow Winter Kate Madden. Dad Joel Madden is very happy with his first baby : “We are very blessed she’s healthy and beautiful and so good already. We are very happy.” Joel told People on Saturday. I bet he’s so happy he’s gonna write a song especially for his baby daughter.

Am I the only person that thinks Nicole looked better pregnant than she looked before getting pregnant? At least during her pregnancy period she had curves and her bones and ribs were not that visible. I hope she got over that “giving birth fear”!

Another newly mom is Christina Aguilera. She gave birth to a baby boy on Saturday, January 12 2008. The little boy’s name is Max Liron Bratman. This is Christina and Jordan Bratman’s first baby since they got married in November 2005.

I wish all of them a lot of happiness and good luck, they’ll need it!

The software mogul, Bill Gates has announced (last year he made that announcement) that he will no longer be the CEO of Microsoft. Hooray! I bet he was sick of all those Windows errors! I know I am! My computer gave me a blue screen 14 time in one day!

This year Mr. Blackwell has named Posh Spice Victoria Beckham the worst dressed celebrity. It seems that her life in United States has been not so inspirational for Posh. The famous fashion critic added that

“In one skinny-mini monstrosity after another, pouty ‘Posh’ can really wreck-em” said Blackwell

I never liked Victoria Beckham. Personally I think that she’s just too skinny and her implants are too big for her figure. Also the way she dresses is not really my taste. But that’s just my personal opinion.
